The discovery of 16th century warship Mars the Magnificent in 2011 did not pass unnoticed.  It was soon clear that is was indeed the discovery of this century. A ambitious and challenging scientific project followed the discovery resulting in new revelations and knowledge. A unique photomosaic was created, now to be updated with an even more yaw dropping 3D photogrammetry model of the entire wreck site.
