About Jakub Šimánek

Jakub is a Liberty CCR Factory Instructor Trainer. He inherited the passion for underwater world from his father as a small child. Jakub lives for diving and dives for living. Jakub is a part of Divesoft development team since 2012 and works as a diving analyst and consultant, test diver and “crash test dummy” and mainly as a trainer for Liberty CCR and Sidemount Liberty. He dives Liberty since the very first prototype and he is an originator of many SW and HW innovations (CCR Bailout mode included). He collects practical experiences and methodics with bailout rebreathers since 2017. Jakub obtained master’s degree in education and developed a rebreather training program and trains instructors, trainers, and divers all around the world, military area included.
