Filming in Extremes: Behind the Scenes

Over the years Becky & Dave Schott have filmed television shows in in the arctic to the tropics and many exciting places in-between. Each environment had its set of challenges to overcome both topside and underwater in order to get the shots. Challenges include rappelling into caves at night during a rainstorm, filming under ice in 27.5 degree water for a month, to spending 12 hour days on zodiacs capturing underwater images of whales. Each location can call for different gear configurations, and creative ways to get the job done.  Becky will take you behind the scenes to experience what it takes to get the shot.
