About Tom Jaspers
Tom started diving in 1976.
At the end off the 1990s he discovered diving with a rebreather and became addicted to it. As Instructor Trainer on the rebreather he trained a lot of divers and instructors. His enthusiasm was very contagious.
Tom made a lot of deep wreck and cave dives, joined and organised expeditions and was always thinking how to improve his equipment.
In 2010 the dream of building an own Eccr Rebreather came reality. This gave him the opportunity to build a rebreather exactly to his heart. The SF2 was born. Moreover it gave him the opportunity to start building a CCR sidemount rebreather, which makes it possible to dive in very narrow caves, he still loves the most.
