About Vic Verlinden

In 1993 Vic discovered the East India trader “ The Roompot” in the North sea. A homeward bound vessel that sank in 1853 . The artefact collection of this historical shipwreck is now in the city museum in Zierikzee ( Netherlands ) Vic is the author of 4 diving books as well as many articles in international diving magazines. He is the founder of the non- profit- organisation “wreck dive team” that is involved in diving expeditions around the world. He is also the owner and organizer of the technical diving event, www.tekdive-europe.com .Over the last 12 years he focused on photographing and filming wrecks beyond recreational depth. Vic was also a speaker on international diving events. His diving career goes for 45 years and is still going on. Last year he was the first Belgian diver in the Viroit cave in Albania.
