About John Bentley

John Bentley is a reformed redneck who dropped everything when he learned to dive in college and switched the plan to accommodate running a dive center in a small mountain town with a friend. In 2012 John began teaching scuba and running trips full time on the dive center's custom travel bus. He became an instructor trainer to coach others in teaching their passion and advanced his hobby with technical and cave diving. Sharing experiences and adventure with others is John's favorite part of life and the dive shop fulfilled this completely. After organizing hundreds of trips, training lots of divers, and becoming incredibly wealthy (emotionally) John relocated to South Florida to be closer to sunken boats and flooded caves. John is a new CCR diver and an experienced cave diver - which is his favorite hobby. John also enjoys teaching scuba, mentoring others, and learning more about diving from instructors and friends. He currently works at International Training in the product development department developing the materials and techniques to train the industries next batch of divers.
