Join Stratis Kas, Simone Villotti and Matteo Ratto at TEKDiveUSA.2020 for the debut screening of "Infinite Liquid". The Film is a 25' documentary film, that follows the four explorers on their adventures throughout Greece’s most magnificent locations, both underwater and not. Using sidemount equipment to get to places that nobody has ever filmed before. Breathtaking underwater, land and drone visuals, combined with contemporary “in your face” cinematic footage, documenting the diver’s real experiences, bring the adventure to life. A unique team, consisting of award winning professional film makers and photographers, who are also the explorers themselves. They manage to capture out-of-this world visuals in the most unforgiving and remote locations on earth, and bring them back to you with never seen before realism.
“Greece equals water. For the occasional, or even the habitual, summer visitor, that means pristine beaches and turquoise landscapes. For the tech diving community it translates into countless historical wrecks dated from the Byzantine era to World War II. But for a small group of Cave divers, Greece lately means caves. All kind of Caves. From amazingly decorated sea caves that remind you of Mexico, to pure, untouched, mountain springs. Giant rooms to tight tunnels. With an average visibility better than the Old continent standards and the extra benefit that a cave diving trip could double also as a vacation for the entire family, could Greece be Europe’s newest Cave country?
The fact that Greece is not connected to central Europe by an “easy drive south”, as is the Lot region in France or even Italy, kept it off the map for European cave divers. Nevertheless, Greece is probably the place to visit next. Exactly because they felt (wrongfully) complicated to visit and therefore are neglected, most caves here, are somehow unexplored and for sure feel “new” to most divers who have been so many times everywhere else. Cave divers love the sport for many reasons, but they all share the joy of being somewhere rarely visited, if even visited at all. Even though 100% unexplored Caves are not common even in Greece, rarely visited spots are plentiful. Caves with non-marked passages or even entire branches are here to be “discovered”
